Insurance Professionals does not operate in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Texas, Alaska or Hawaii.
What is your commission split?
Insurance Professionals pays 70% of the gross commissions received from the carriers we represent.
Does Insurance Professionals have underwriters that I will work with?
Insurance Professionals is a Direct Market Access program, meaning that you will have your own individual login for the carriers that we issue you sub-producer codes with. We do not employ underwriters and you will never wait on us for a quote.
How many companies can I access through Insurance Professionals initially?
We bring all Agents in under our “Standard” program and, depending on your location, you will have access to up to 6 of our companies initially.
How can I access more carriers?
Simply bind 5 policies under our “Standard” program and we will conduct a “needs analysis review” to determine which of our over 25 companies make sense to appoint you as a sub producer with.
Can I get my access terminated for being inactive?
While Insurance Professionals does not terminate inactive users as a practice, insurance carriers do. There isn’t much of a point to having a login to a carrier you don’t write business with, either. To avoid logins being terminated due to inactivity, we encourage producers to maintain a minimum of $5,000-$10,000 in production monthly, spread our amongst the Standard Program carriers, to maintain active logins.
Does Insurance Professionals offer a multi-rater?
Insurance Professionals works with EZLYNX, one of the industry’s leading personal lines multi-raters. Agents can gain access to EZLYNX by maintaining $10,000/month in premium production.
Can I use my own EZLYNX or multi-rater with the logins you issue to the carriers?
Yes you can utilize your own EZLynx by simply entering your username and password for each of the carriers you are quoting through with Insurance Professionals onto your EZLynx.
Does Insurance Professionals provide training?
We do not provide training however each carrier provides their own quote and bind training. You can also access some of the trainings on our Agent Resource Site, to which you will receive credentials after you are signed up.
